Second album

In 2016, they released Evolution, an album featuring 11 songs and 5 bonus tracks. They performed the official theme song for the film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows." That same year, they were awarded the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive autograph signings by an artist. Their self-titled album, CD9 from the Party to Evolution, was released that year, supported by Panini. Their second studio album was released on March 18, 2016. It features 15 tracks, 9 in Spanish and 6 in English, earning a gold record. Before going solo, it included three singles: "I Feel Alive" in both versions, "Deja Vu" and "Best Bad Move," released on January 22, 2016, August 2, 2016, and August 19, 2016.

In 2016, they released the album Revolution, a reissue of their album Evolution. Released on November 11, it features tracks from their album Evolution, as well as several previously unreleased songs, a DVD with official videos, and a short documentary about the five band members. During a press conference, the band announced their new tour, called the Revolution Tour. This tour began on November 26 at the Mexico City Arena, with the participation of Spanish girl band Sweet California and singer Calum. In July 2017, they released an EP titled .5, which earned a gold record for selling over 30,000 copies. With this EP, they released the single "No le hablan de amor," which delved into the urban genre. The first edition of their book, CD9 Nuestra Historia, was released in October 2017.
